Employment Consultant

Location: Auburn, WA (King County)

Our team is very collaborative, so we rely on staff to be positive, self-directed and professional as both a consultant in the community and as a team player.

As an advocate for the job seeker, this position requires initiative and creativity and a belief that anyone who wants to work can develop skills that will be valued in a workplace.

As a consultant to businesses, the position requires networking and marketing skills and professionalism that can be adapted to various company cultures. Consider that most businesses have not experienced supported employment, so you are pitching them their next bold business decision and ensuring it is successful.

Compensation:

Salary is competitive and depends on qualifications and experience. Entry-level range is between $32,000 – $34,000. The staff person hired can expect to receive annual pay increases based on individual performance, level of responsibility and overall performance of our organization.

Bonuses average $3,500 annually, based on team performance.

Benefits offered have an estimated average annual value of $14,500. Benefits available to full-time employees include:

Medical, dental and vision benefits (dependents receive similar benefits with 60% of the premium paid by Trillium) • Personal leave starting at 18 days per year • In addition to personal leave, full time employees receive 10 paid holidays per year • Extended illness bank for payment of salary during extended illness • Long Term Disability Insurance • Life insurance ($10,000) • Paid sabbatical leave at five year and ten year employment anniversary dates • A 403B retirement plan where employees receive a generous match after the first year of employment • Mileage & cell phone reimbursement

Desirable Qualifications:

Have at least one year of experience teaching skills to individuals with disabilities • Bachelor’s Degree • Knowledge, ability and desire to work respectfully with people with disabilities • Ability to relate to a diverse set of situations and individuals • Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing • Self-directed and can work independently • Outgoing and confident in approaching businesses on behalf of people with disabilities • Willing to work all shifts, weekends and holidays if necessary.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License and proof of vehicle liability insurance.
  • Must obtain a favorable driving abstract from the Department of Motor Vehicles
  • Must have private vehicle and willing to use for business.
  • Ability to complete background investigation in order to ascertain whether criminal convictions exist for crimes against persons.
  • Certification in first aid and CPR no later than three months from the initial date of hire.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Employment Associate

Location: Auburn, WA (King County)

Trillium Employment Services is seeking a creative, energetic professional who can assist King County businesses in employing people with developmental disabilities. The King branch is built on a spirit of collaboration. We rely on staff to be positive, self-directed, and professional as an advocate for our clients, a consultant in the community, and a valued member of the King team. The Employment Associate position will require you to envision and implement employment success for each client, regardless of perceived barriers. This will demand initiative, diligence, and a willingness to experiment and closely collaborate with your teammates. The team member hired can expect to receive annual pay increases based on individual performance and level of responsibility. The candidate can also expect to receive monthly reimbursement checks for business mileage and smart phone expenses.

Have at least one year of experience teaching skills to individuals with disabilities • Knowledge, ability, and desire to work respectfully with people with disabilities • Ability to relate to a diverse set of situations and individuals • Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely, orally and in writing • Self-directed and can work independently • Comfortable engaging in collaborative and creative problem solving • Willing to adapt to a flexible schedule and work all shifts, weekends, and holidays if necessary • Ability to partner with an Employment Consultant to enhance independence of shared clients • Ability to constructively give and thoughtfully receive feedback

Program Manager

Location: Silverdale, WA (Kitsap County)

Trillium Employment Services is seeking a creative, energetic Program Manager who can lead our Kitsap County team in helping local businesses employ people with developmental disabilities. We believe that our communities are strengthened when people with developmental disabilities are included in the workforce. If you believe this too and can bring innovative leadership skills that will nurture positive community-business relations and empower team members to deliver quality service, we want to hear from you.

The Program Manager embodies Trillium’s mission and values.  This position is responsible for establishing, growing, and upholding Trillium’s reputation for integrity and nationally recognized excellence as an organization dedicated to promoting inclusive community and employment opportunities. The Program Manager is expected to develop innovative strategies for service and pioneer business partnerships that result in employment opportunities for Americans who experience a myriad of developmental disabilities.  In addition the Program Manager is responsible for ensuring county standards of service, contractual obligations, and strategic and financial objectives of the organization are met.  Finally, the Program Manager provides training, support and technical assistance to staff, employers, and clients on-the-job, as well as long-term employment support, coordinating special projects, and representing the organization as needed.
