Welcome to the 39th episode of our “40 Years, 40 Stories of Impact” series! 🎬
In this heartfelt episode, we have the privilege of speaking with Parent Advocate Diane Gibbons, whose son, Drew, has been working with Trillium for 3.5 years. Currently employed at MOD Pizza, Drew’s journey is a testament to the positive impact of Trillium’s services.
Diane shares her experience of learning about Trillium’s services in Drew’s last year of high school. Encouraged to find an organization that advocates for her son and recognizes his strengths, Diane initially had concerns about what would happen to Drew after school ended. However, with Trillium’s support, she is now excited about Drew’s future.
Join us as we celebrate Diane’s advocacy, Drew’s achievements, and the transformative power of organizations like Trillium in empowering individuals with disabilities and their families. This story reflects the hope and optimism that comes with meaningful employment and support. 🌟
