We are currently seeking Employment Consultants to contribute to the success and organic growth of our King County team as well as teams in Clark, Kitsap, Pierce, and Yakima Counties.
Job Duties
- Coach and teach individuals with developmental disabilities job skills
- Empower people with disabilities to reach their full potential
- Build relationships with the local businesses community
- Pitch our services and inclusive workplace concepts
- Interact effectively with clients, families, businesses, schools and funders
- Assist job seekers’ market their skills and abilities
- Manage a fluctuating daily schedule
- Write case notes and reports that reflect your client work
- Regularly participate with a collaborative and supportive team
Requirements
- The ability to work collaboratively in a learning environment
- Self-aware, accountable, and motivated
- Creative problem-solver
- Time-management skills/Efficient
- Empathy for under-served communities
- Willing to learn from mistakes and share your experience with others
- Current valid Washington State Driver’s License
- Ability to provide proof of current vehicle liability insurance
- Ability to provide a favorable driving abstract from the Department of Motor Vehicles
- Private vehicle to use for business
- Pass a background check to serve vulnerable populations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to travel throughout Kitsap County
