Trillium Employment Services is seeking individuals who are creative thinkers with good problem-solving skills to assist businesses in employing people with developmental disabilities.
We believe that our communities are strengthened when people with developmental disabilities are included in the workforce. If you have business development/marketing skills or teaching/coaching skills to help increase employment for people with disabilities in our communities, we want to hear from you.
Main job duties are:
Coaching and teaching individuals with developmental disabilities job skills
Empowering people with disabilities to reach their full potential
Building relationships with businesses in the community through networking and pitching our services and inclusive workplace concepts to them.
Interacting effectively with clients, families, businesses, schools and funders
Assessing job seekers’ marketable skills and abilities
Managing a fluctuating daily schedule
Writing case notes and reports that reflect your client work

An experienced staff member will be mentoring you in your first 6 months to ensure you understand all aspects of the job. Formal training’s will also take place to ensure you have the tools you need to be successful. Valid Washington State Driver’s License and proof of vehicle liability insurance.
Must obtain a favorable driving abstract from the Department of Motor Vehicles
Must have private vehicle and willing to use for business.
Ability to complete background check as required by our contracts to serve a vulnerable population.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work some evenings or weekends as required to serve clients
Have at least one year of experience teaching skills to individuals with disabilities
Self-directed and can work independently • Willing to learn from people with disabilities • Ability to express ideas orally and in writing • Confident in approaching businesses on behalf of people with disabilities
