For those who missed it, here are some words from Assistant Program Manager, Julie, celebrating Michelle’s career at Trillium:
“I was first introduced to Michelle in 2012 at a Trillium client’s worksite in Kent Station. At the time, Michelle was already a long-time employee with the business, and her dedication to assisting Markell (Client) with his daily job duties and providing him with emotional support was evident from the start. Michelle played a crucial role in Markell’s success at Road Runner, becoming his biggest advocate throughout the seven years they worked together.
Not only did Michelle excel in her support for Markell, but she also actively contributed to Trillium’s growth by willingly taking on the responsibility of training the team in new processes and tasks. As I continued to work alongside Markell, my friendship with Michelle started to grow, extending our relationship outside of work.
One day, while I was at the business supporting Markell, Michelle mentioned that she was contemplating a new career path. During the time I spent with her, I recognized that she truly embodied Trillium’s mission and values, always going above and beyond to support Markell and advocating for his needs. Realizing the incredible value she brought to the organization, I couldn’t bear the thought of her leaving.
In that moment, I informed Michelle about an open position at Trillium as an Employment Consultant, and she expressed genuine interest. Without hesitation, she applied for the role, and I eagerly recommended her to the King Team Managers, emphasizing her exceptional gifts, dedication, and unwavering support for our clients.
As expected, Michelle seamlessly fit into her new role and quickly became an integral part of the Trillium team. Over the years, she continued to make a profound impact on the organization, and her commitment never wavered. Now, after 9 successful years at Trillium, Michelle is celebrating her well-deserved retirement, moving on to the next chapter of her life.
Her time at Trillium has left an indelible mark, and her memories will forever be cherished. Michelle’s contributions, passion, and dedication will be an inspiration to all who had the pleasure of working with her. Congratulations, Michelle! Your retirement is a testament to the amazing career you’ve had and the lives you’ve positively impacted. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors.”
